The Nigerian dream is simple: the good life! There are so many of us. Our cultures, languages, and beliefs are as diverse as our numbers. The one thing we all have in common, however, is an ardent desire to succeed. A Nigerian president who aspires to statesmanship must bear this in mind. The Nigerian dream I subscribe to is one where any Nigerian, rich or poor, can aspire to a good education, wealth, high office and succeed exclusively through dint of hardwork and diligence. A Nigeria where you would get an education and get a job strictly and entirely on your own merit. A Nigeria where you are sure the Police is truly your friend, the judicial system is blind to anything and everything but justice and an electoral system where the people’s choice is guaranteed victory. That Nigeria of our dreams is near. If you doubt this, look back from whence we have come. What is clear is that Nigerians have the capacity and will to act when it matters the most. I am proud to be a Nigerian. Congratulations to President Goodluck Jonathan, President-elect Muhammadu Buhari and fellow Nigerians! May God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
